Kids Klub

27th Season of the Children's After School Biblical Performing Arts Program of MIPC !

Calling all kids (and kids at heart) for the start of this year’s joyful Children’s Biblical Theatre program.  We meet every Tuesday from 3:30-5:30 PM. Ages: 6-12 year olds.

This season we will prepare a Christmas show:  “Candy Cane Lane: A Recipe for Life” opening Dec. 4th and 5th at 7 PM on our stage.

Be an evangelist: invite a kid near you! Registration forms are at church or available for download here:  Kids Klub 2010

 How can you help?

Do you live on one of Merritt Island’s Candy Cane Lanes or have some large, decorative candy canes to loan as we deck our Fellowship Hall out for our one day Kick Off party?  Please let Cordelia or Marilyn Smoot know.

Volunteers needed to join this terrific team-all training is provided.  How often can you come?

Every week:

1) Shepherds: accompany children from activity to activity and to support the workshop leaders and the rehearsals.

2) A pianist to accompany rehearsals

3) Lead 20 minutes of fun active games 3:30-3:50

4) Lead our scripture memorization games 3:50-4:00

5) Supervise and support our KK Youth in Service Work to KK, the church, and community.

6)  Pray for our joyful and faithful witness to these children!

Two-Four times a season: ARK Workshop leaders. ARK stands for  All Remarkable Kids on Biblical Adventures in which they  learn about Christian values and Biblical stories through art, computer activities, simple science experiments, cooking, movement, games drama, or music. Each workshop is offered once a season at two different times (kids are divided by age).

1) Lead or support our Cooking or Science Workshops

2) Support our Computer Lab (when kids are there or before hand-see “on my own time.”)

3) Support our art, movement, or music workshops

4) Would you be willing to lead one of our ARK workshops

 On my own time:

1) Help design or paint scenery

2) Prepare the computer lab to run the Christian computer games and activities that we use to teach scripture in captivating ways to technologically savvy kids!

Be a part of the Kids Klub Team-it’s a fun, important and rewarding way to love children and to share the Good News of the Gospel!
