The following Winter and Spring Adult classes have come to a close:
Short-Term & In-depth Studies: Kerygma
The Commandments for a Blessed Life- This Presbyterian Study takes its name from the Greek word “Proclamation” and encourages modern day disciples to take the whole Bible seriously and to see where the Old Testament and Jesus’ teachings fit together. 1) We take the Bible as our primary text but look to modern scholarship in language, ancient cultures and archeology to help us understand the Word in context 2) We use Student journals to encourage regular scripture reading and reflection 3) We share our questions and thoughts to focus on and mature in our Christian discipleship.
