Our current book is “A Man Called Peter”, by Catherine Marshall . A story about Being Real with God: a man who follows God's calling and as a result, God uses him to change the lives of many people. "A Man Called Peter", is about a Scottish immigrant, Peter Marshall, who comes from Scotland to America. Wherever he goes as a preacher speaking in churches and around town, he raisies people up; his way of preaching, his way of teaching, his way of leading really connects with the people. The people love him. This is the story of how he grows, how he comes to be called by God and where he goes with his life. In the end, he is the pastor of one of the biggest churches in Washington, DC; and for a few years, the Chaplain of the United States Senate.Bring your lunch and please join us as we explore the fascinating life of Peter Marshall.The Brown Bag Book Bunch is a Christian Book Club, led by Pastor Al, which meets on Wednesdays at noon in the Music Activity Room of the Ennis Bldg.
